Who am I?

Hi there! I’m Josie, a 20-year-old Hospitality Management major at East Carolina University (ECU). I have a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, from weddings to corporate events. I love bringing people together in meaningful and memorable ways.

I’m the Vice President of the Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) at ECU, where I work with fellow students to help them develop their professional skills and prepare for life after college. I’m also interning as an Event Coordinator Assistant at Rock Springs Center, gaining hands-on experience in the industry and expanding my knowledge of everything from logistics to kitchen operations.

My journey in hospitality started long before college. I’ve been involved in wedding planning since I was 14, and I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible couples to turn their dream weddings into reality. I love how weddings allow me to be creative, organized, and thoughtful all at once—no two are ever the same!

You’ll probably find me boxing at the ECU Boxing Club or curled up with a good nonfiction book when I'm not planning events. I’m ambitious and always looking to learn, grow, and challenge myself, whether it’s in my academic life, my event planning business, or my personal passions.

This blog is where I’ll share my insights, tips, and experiences as I navigate the hospitality and event planning world. Whether you’re interested in the behind-the-scenes of weddings, looking for career advice in hospitality, or just want to follow along on my journey, I’m excited to share it all with you!

Thanks for stopping by, and I can’t wait to connect with you!
